About the Event
The business press is full of doom and gloom about how the Internet is eating everyones lunch when it comes to stealing print advertising dollars. But Jim Mikol sees it differently! The trade press reported 2006 as another flat year (3.8% increase) in advertising in magazines, but, as Sr. Vice President & Director of Print Management at Leo Burnett U.S.A., Jim is convinced that we can reverse the current trend in print advertising.
Join us for a Joint Luncheon Program, sponsored by P3 and the Advertising Production Club, on Tuesday, February 13th, when Jim confronts the different trading partners points-of-viewfrom the brand owners to the media buyers to the agencies to the publishersand reveals his conclusions on the best way to partner to move forward and increase the amount of advertising coming through the door.
Key points Jim will address include:
How are traditional production and studio operations being positioned in their agencies or publishing environments
What does the managing professional need to know and where can he/she can find industry resources
The new media/web production space
Jim brings a different slant on this critical subject. With more than 20 years at Kraft Foods and another 10 at Leo Burnett in Chicago, one of the biggest print advertising agencies in the US (with a close association with StarCom, the Publicis media buying group), Jims unique perspective is a must-hear for anyone involved in the business of advertising production!
