About the Event
Have you been told that having fewer newspapers means more trees get saved? Do you or your customers think that going digital will save those trees? Show us those trees!
Come and hear industry expert Don Carli debunk the myths that are attacking the print industry, and how print can establish itself as an eco-friendly media space.
Don will also discuss the carbon footprints of different media types and how many billions of tons of greenhouse gas emissions are associated with them.
In addition he will cover some of the exciting new print/digital hybrid "ARvertising" applications that promise to combine the strengths of print & digital media.
Don will also teach us about the principles of system thinking and tools for life cycle analysis, and how they can be used to meet growing demand for carbon neutral media and sustainable media supply chains.
Most importantly, Don will inform us about the opportunities & challenges the economic recovery is likely to present for advertising production professionals. Please join us for APCs first educational session of the new year on October 27th. Youll come out of it with a better understanding of how we can be both sustainable and successful at the same time.
