 The Advertising Production Club is proud to announce that the recipients of this year’s Advertising Production Person of the Year Award (APPY); Kevin Brucato and Tom LoPresti. The APPY Awards recognize true professionalism, assiduous service and dedicated commitment as leaders in the Graphic Arts/Advertising industry. Both awards will be presented at the annual APC Gala on this coming September 25th at Battery Gardens in Battery Park, New York.
Please join the APC in celebrating this year's award winners. The event will run from 6PM to 11PM. All are welcome. Battery Gardens is located in Battery Park on the tip of lower Manhattan. Individual tickets are $350 and tables of ten (10) can be purchased for $3500.

Kevin Brucato |

Kevin Brucato, straight out of Binghamton University, began his 15 years of experience at Bozell in 1992. After five years in the studio there, he moved up to become the Studio Manager and went on to pioneer one of the first agency in-house prepress facilities. He then went on to found Studio PSD in 2004 while at the same time serving as Director of Creative Services at Lowe. Kevin is a recognized digital visionary and innovative thinker, experienced at implementing cutting-edge technologies and building cohesiveness between agency and print services. He is committed to ensuring creativity and high quality in a fast-paced boutique culture. He is a people person (he majored in Psychology), a leader with a proven record in recruiting strong talent and maintaining eager employees. Kevin is an avid agency softball coach and a few years ago he got the Golf bug and has been playing ever since.

Tom LoPresti |

Tom LoPresti graduated St John's University in 1974 with a BS in Criminal Justice. He was the founder and owner and President of Sureway Worldwide Express for 25 years he brought that company to the public market in 2001, he was responsible for bringing that company to an annual billing of $ 50,000,000. Tom is currently a partner in Axis Global Logistics, a $ 40,000,000 per year entity with an average annual sales growth of 15%. Tom is responsible for the Axis franchise offices he has cultivated over the past 5 years and has set these Axis warehouse facilities up in Chicago, Minneapolis, Dallas, Houston, Miami, Denver, Toronto, & Washington DC. In his past time Tom enjoys Golf, Boating and fishing.

About the APPY Awards
Each year the APPY Award honors members of our community in education or innovation, and unassailable standards of excellence and integrity. This esteemed award is given to industry leaders from the agency side and the vendor side. Past award winners are leaders in their individual companies and throughout the industry. They have a minimum of ten years experience and have given back to our community through educational and innovative programs.
Since 1931 the organization has been a valuable resource for scholarships, continuing education, professional development and industry networking. We're continually adapting to keep pace with ongoing changes in the field. The APPY award is just one of the ways in which we honor our most dedicated members.
In keeping with the APC’s mandate to foster a younger generation of graphic arts professionals, a portion of the proceeds from the dinner dance are used to help fund the Club’s Scholarship Foundation. Four designated scholarship programs are available to full-time college students majoring in graphic arts/communications, and an additional scholarship program, to full-time students of non-specified major. Since 1931 the organization has been a valuable resource for scholarships, continuing education, professional development and industry networking. We're continually adapting to keep pace with ongoing changes in the field. The APPY and Dr. Deluca Lifetime Achievement award is just one of the ways in which we honor our most dedicated members.
