Description
The Advertising Production Club of New York (APC) needs your help in identifying stellar, up-and-coming professionals who embody a passion for the advertising community and for their work in our industry. Recognition is given to innovative, high potential individual contributors who exhibit a combination of professional and personal attributes that demonstrate emerging leadership and growing contributions to the graphic arts/communications community. The APC Rising Star encourages professionals to remain engaged in the graphics profession and ultimately advance their overall impact on our industry.
Eligibity
- Nominees should have at least two years working experience in the graphic arts/communications industry.
- Nominees may be affiliated with any type of organization or industry sector.
- Individuals who are familiar with their work and can describe and verify their achievement(s) must nominate candidates.
- They do not have to be nominated by their employer.
- Self-nominations will not be accepted.
Selection
The APC APPY Committee will evaluate nominations. The committee is composed of industry leaders and representatives from several sectors of the graphic arts/communications community. No single accomplishment will automatically qualify a candidate for recognition. A successful candidate demonstrates a pattern of high achievement and future potential.
Recognition
It is expected that multiple nominees will be selected as APC Rising Stars, and winners (not limited to one) will be selected by the APPY Committee and presented to the APC Board of Directors for final approval. Recipients will be notified in May 2008. Recipients will be presented the opportunity to be mentored by graphics professionals and to enhance their careers in the industry through exclusive professional development opportunities. Recognition will be acknowledged publicly at the APC Gala in September 2008.
Please email admin@apc-ny.org with your nomination.
