Dear APC Members,
As most of you are aware, at the annual business meeting on June 2, 2010, I will officially hand over the gavel to a new APC President. After serving in this capacity for the past 2 years, I can truly say that I am very proud of what we have accomplished together as a club.
I would like to take a moment to thank all of you for this privilege and to acknowledge the support I have received. I have enjoyed this opportunity immensely and have been humbled by the experience. Over the past 8 years, I have had the privilege of working with an incredibly talented and diverse team on the Board of Directors -— a team with a shared passion and drive who have been generous with their time and willing to give of themselves to support and advance the community in which we work.
I would also like to acknowledge the incredible work of the committees, volunteers, sponsors, and everyone who contributes to the mission of the APC. I believe, that through our mutual investment, we have ensured that the APC has remained relevant in today’s market and continues to be an effective and valuable organization for the graphic arts community. I look forward to remaining active in the APC as Chairman and am excited about the new and revitalized team we have assembled for the Board.
In a final request as club President, I ask that you continue to support the APC and stay involved with our community. Pass the news along about the club and encourage your colleagues, clients, and vendors to get involved. In return we promise to continue to deliver relevant and engaging material, information and opportunities that will make it worth your while.
